The BASO 5931 Series K19 Super Slim Jim Universal Snap-In Thermocouple has a flat thermometer housing to prevent damage to the thermocouple. This model is commonly used as a thermocouple for freezers, walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers and refrigeration equipment.

The Super Slim Jim is the ideal universal insertion thermocouple. Its sleek, lightweight design combined with its ultra-slim housing provides ease of maneuvering around difficult to access components. It has a 72" BNC connector to reduce stress on cable sets and an integrated strain relief.

The BASO 5931 Series K19 Super Slim Jim Universal Snap-In Thermocouple is specially designed for general investigations, field service, and machine development. It features slim design with no extension or adaptors for easy connection and installation. A heavy lead wire with one end pre-attached to the thermocouple and a snap-in connector/wire with molded terminal provide efficient electrical connection. This thermocouple has a positive strain relief for a tight fit around copper pipe and tubing at the solder joint between the fitting (connector) and lead wire.

The BASO 5931 Series K19 Super Slim Jim Universal Snap-In Thermocouple is designed to be inserted into the Tedlar® tubing in a stove, furnace, or boiler to measure the temperature at the appliance site. The sheath of the cable is made of PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) which resists most chemicals and common solvents found in industrial applications; the jacket retains its color throughout its service life.

The BASO 5931 series K19 Super Slim Jim universal snap-in thermo is ideal for checking temperature across the entire length of an AC line cord, or any other type of heating or cooling system. This thermocouple features flexible wire that makes it easy to slip inside a pipe or ductwork, and features a stainless steel sensor that is ideal for temperature measurement. A built-in non-contact infrared thermometer can be used to measure the line temperature before and after installation in order to calculate heat loss and gain parameters.
