A complete line of safety shutoff valves in a variety of styles and flow ratings. Features a two-way normally closed, easy-to-operate lever. A built-in check valve relieves downstream pressure if the valve is opened to prevent reverse flow. The seal is made with nitrile rubber butylene rubber for superior performance.
The ASCO 65851 is a direct acting (non-metering) gas shut off valve with 1/2" pipe size for low pressure applications and 2-Way Normally Closed solenoid pilot operation. The OPD safety operation feature of this ASM 65851 shut off valve prevents accidental stop up operations of the fuel supply line. An additional feature of this product is optional remote resetting, allowing users to remotely reset the solenoid pilot using the enclosed wire lead.
When there is a danger of an uncontrolled gas leak or gas spill, the 65851 Aluminum Body Low Pressure Direct Acting Fuel Gas Shutoff Valve comes into play. This valve has a two way operational mechanism and 1/2" pipe size. It shuts off the gas flow when the knob is in the middle position and opens the gas flow when the knob is pushed towards either ends of the valve. This normally closed shutoff valve has an orifice with 6 cv for flow capacity.
