24V 3/4" 2-WAY N.C. SAFETY SHUTOFF
The ASCO 68643 is a full-port gas shutoff valve. The 68643 has a 3/4" pipe size with 2-way normally closed switching mechanism, nitrile butylene sealing material and a 0.812" orifice size. It has a 9 CV flow rating and a maximum working pressure of 125 psi. The 24V/60 Hz power rating enables this 2-way normally closed safety shutoff to deliver up to 15 amps of power.
The ASCO 68643 is an energy-efficient direct acting low pressure safety shutoff valve with a two-position normally closed operation (3/4" N.C. pitch). This device has been designed to comply with ANSI C37.11, Standard for Safety Shutoff Valves for Gasoline and Gasoline/Ethanol Blends with Nominal Ethanol Concentrations up to 10%. It is designed to replace 'lift station' style wastewater shutoffs for the automotive, light commercial and industrial markets in the United States and Canada.
The all-brass 68643 is a 2-way normally closed direct acting safety shutoff valve. With no spring or gasket, the 68643 features a minimally closing seat and diaphragm made of nitrile butylene rubber, limiting leakage to less than 1 drop per year. Limit leakage to even less with the optional PTFE diaphragms. This high quality valve is certified for use in potable (drinking) water systems.
The ASCO 68643 is a durable aluminum body low pressure direct acting fuel gas shutoff valve. The adjustable flow control in the valve body provides for faster and more efficient flow settings. Furthermore, the valve can be shipped pre-set to air or gas positions. This two way normally closed (N.C.) valve is equipped with a normally closed pilot light indicator which monitors the flow on each position independently of the other position. Rotary handles are integral to the handle design and rated for 24V 60Hz.

The ASCO 68643 safety shutoff valves are used for both manual and automatic actuation in natural gas or propane applications. This style of valve protects against both over-pressurization and under-pressurization.
