The knob assembly for a LG Gas Key that has been manufactured by Star Mfg. This Gas Key is designed to fit many different sets of locks but function the same way in opening and shutting the lock.

This LG Gas Key/Igniter knob assembly has been manufactured since 1991. The parts I have are NEW OLD STOCK (NOS), not aftermarket, and Star Mfg is the manufacturer. Knob assembly with propane gas key in brass finish. 2-3/8 inches long, by 1-1/8 inches wide.

The knob assembly is designed to replace an original part on LG refrigerators manufactured before 1996. The part is designed to fit General Electric, Hotpoint, Roper, and Crosley refrigerators. It measures 2.9 inches long, and it has a single metal screw that locks the handle into place.

A knob assembly which is attached to a gas control valve assembly. The knob assembly comprises a knob body, a push button for controlling a gas supply (gas on), an anti-rotation component (torque ring) around a cylinder stem of the cylinder, and a conductive element (e.g., metal ball) inside the cylinder guiding the opening and closing movement of the push button.

The 8012907 knob is used on the following gas styles: 12" Griddle with LP Burner; 18" Griddle with LP Burner; and 24" Griddle with LP Burner.

The Gas Key (64516) used on some Kenmore/Whirlpool KitchenAid and other brand ranges and cooktops.
