The Kohler 1216617 service kit is made to replace the valve assembly on your 2 Gallon Lavatory Sink, 4 Gallon Sinks and 8 Gallon Sinks which do not have an included nutsert.

The Kohler K-series canisters are used with the bath-jet showerheads as well as a pop-up tub faucet. They provide a fresh, clean showering experience for the user and provide the required water pressure to the jetted spout. The valve provides a limit of 140psi to prevent scalding and has an internal flap inside that will open at 90psi to prevent water from siphoning back into the valves body and potentially flooding out underneath.
