The Kwikset RDT Passage is a Legacy Deadbolt featuring EZ-Set Smart Key technology. It offers an easy to change, programmable key, that allows users to rekey the lock without any specialist tools. The Passage is held in place by a single screw for quick and easy installation.

The Passage is a centered passage knob. It's a deadbolt with a twist... the passage function means you can lock and unlock your deadbolt from either side of the door, inside or outside! It's made for doorknobs with backset of 2-1/4" to 2-3/8" (60mm to 60.2mm). Deadbolt throw is 3-15/16" (100mm) and does not work on left hand doors. No key required for passage function.

Passage Key Control locks are designed to provide advanced residential security by allowing key access only to expected residents. Passage key control deadbolts allow passage doors to remain unlocked during the day, and then can be secured at night or when leaving. Not recommended for use on doors that are accessible 24/7, such as garage and service entrance doors.
