The Kwikset 971H-15-GC Low Profile Single Cylinder Deadbolt features a solid brass construction along with the company's SmartKey re-key technology. The deadbolt has a 15 tooth rose design while its lever handle and thumbturn have a glossy chrome finish. This model helps prevent lock bumping by ensuring one of the pin stacks is permanently engaged in the deadbolt's cylinder. It is compatible with all deadbolts that use a standard, 1-1/8 inch x 7/8 inch cylindricalLockset entry knob or lever.

The KWIKSET 971H-15-GC is a pushbutton deadbolt handle in Satin Chrome, featuring a 15 Diameter cylinder. It is designed for single door and comes with one Kwikset knob. It is also Low Profile. It requires 5/8" backset or 3/4" standard to fit all standard door preparations.

Featuring a revolutionary combination of Schlage Primus cylinder, Kwikset knob and translucent lever, Kwikset 971H-15-GC is the strongest low profile single cylinder deadbolt ever built. This deadbolt is ideal for replacement or new construction. It comes complete with a slim satin chrome knobset for interior use or with matching satin chrome levers for exterior use.

The Kwikset 971H-15-GC Low Profile Single Cylinder Deadbolt is designed with an Anti-Shim feature to help prevent door being pried open. It has a 1 in diameter body and features a 2 1/8 in diameter faceplate and deadbolt throw knob at 3 in vertical clearance.

This item is used to retrofit existing knob-and-tube wiring. It requires the use of a steel junction box, wall plate and cover.
