The Aquastat® C (manual reset) is intended for use with common heating and cooling systems that operate on single phase, 208/230 VAC power. Under normal operating conditions, the Aquastat ® C will automatically control the water temperature to meet the programmed set point within +/- 3° F (1.6° C). If a condition creating excessive heater or cold water temperatures occurs, the thermostatic element will open (A hot condition) or close (A cold condition), actuating the normally-closed limit switch. The thermal time delay relay will immediately "trip" after the circuit has been opened
