The Honeywell L408J1017 is a 0-4 PSI Vaporstat Switch. Protect your family and home from excessive water damage caused by frozen or burst pipes with this Germicidal VaporStat Mercury Free. This unit controls humidity to prevent the growth of mildew and molds in your home.

Monitor process conditions with this mercury-free switch. This product is an electronic switching device, or vapor switch, with a SPDT (single pole, double throw) design that is rated for 0-4 psi. It is 1/2 in. wide and 3/8 in. long with a mounting depth of only 1/2 in. The operating temperature ranges from -30 to 150 F.

The L408J1017 is a replacement switch for the Honeywell Series 7000 vapor stat. It has a 3/4" diameter handle and is SPDT (on-off-on) rated at 0 to 4 psi. NOTE: This replaces part number 3094 (P/N 3094), it does not replace the L408J1009, which is a DPST switch.

VAPORSTAT® is a fixed or variable differential pressure, vacuum, or atmospheric pressure switch (with an integral alarm to signal overpressure) designed to protect many types of process equipment. Externally mounted on refrigeration receivers or condensers, VAPORSTAT performs the same function as a vapor trap but is more sensitive than most vapor traps commonly utilized. VAPORSTAT provides on-off protection for the heat exchanger in refrigeration and A/C systems; over or under pressure protection for solvent recovery systems; freeze protection for water or process piping; and liquid level protection for a variety of products.

The V-STAT is a light weight, fast responding pressure switch. It is ideally suited to control vapor recovery boilers, or for higher temperature applications where an element control switch would not be appropriate. The V-STAT utilizes a sensing element of electrically heated thermocouple used with a SPDT (Single Pole, Double Throw) toggle switch that provides solid state switching to control a variety of equipment requiring an accurate, reliable pressure switch which can stand up to heavy duty applications.
