This lock meets the ANSI/BHMA A156. 2-2004 Grade 2 Security Rating for application in High Security Locksmithing and is available with both cam and pin-tumbler mechanisms. This lock can be used in a wide variety of applications including apartment buildings, office buildings, homes, storage units, garages and many other places where access must be restricted to a select group of people, yet needs to be unlocked easily by employees or key holders. The L9040 02A 626 is also available in Schlage Keyway for use with existing Schlage hardware.

L9040 02A 626 The Commercial Grade F-Series deadbolt is ideal for medium to heavy use applications. It features a 2-3/8" backset, one-inch throw solid brass faceplate and latchbolt, hardened steel all drill pick resistant pinning, and 5-spoke brass handle. The F Series deadbolt features Schlages' patented Fortress screw drive to resist tampering and prevent pulling the lock from the door. Any F series deadbolt with the same backset can be used as an edge or surface mount installation.

The Schlage Commercial Grade Mortise L904002A626 is part of our commercial grade door lock line. This is a deadbolt lock for use on exterior doors with both privacy and panic features. This is a 1-3/8" diameter latchbolt. It has a backset of 2-3/4". A drill-resistant cylinder helps to prevent the unauthorized removal of the cylinder from the lock body.
