The A90C17220 is an upgraded replacement for the obsolete VR8200A gas valve made by Honeywell. This pressure control has a single gas adjustment knob and two large manual ''ON-OFF'' switches. These manual switches are collectively referred to as the '' THROT RANGE '' control .

PressureTROL is a two-stage gas valve designed to provide higher operating efficiency and oil savings by enabling the valve to operate at full-power only when a demand for heating load exists. The PressureTROL is an adjustable precise regulator, allowing you to adjust the heat setpoint from the furnace. It will deliver higher available BTU's per pound of natural gas, potentially saving you money in energy costs. Increased comfort is also achieved since the furnace does not constantly cycle on and off.

Our proprietary PressureTROL technology detects and compensates for pressure drops that cause the burner to misfire. It also allows you to manually adjust the heat if desired, turn off the gas and your pilot if you need to step away from your fireplace, or temporarily disconnect the propane tank for storage or pressure testing. PressureTROL will automatically detect tank pressure changes and return to operation as normal.

Some manufacturers make high-quality valves, but the Honeywell 2264 is designed for a very specific purpose, and we consider it to be one of the most reliable and durable options on the market. This valve is constructed from stainless steel, as opposed to some other zoned valves that you may come across. The Honeywell 2264 includes an adjustable throttle range and the ability to connect directly to either ¾ or 5/8 inch gas line.

This Honeywell pressure control replaces your original pressure control and is for heating systems using natural gas (NG) or propane (LP). This is NOT a direct replacement for a VR800 Series Gas Valve.
