The Lennox LB-66579B COLD HDR KIT LB-66579B Collector Box/Trap is designed to be installed on the down-draught inlet at the end of the ductwork. This cover is used for the LB-66579 and RLH-66579 collection systems.

Lennox 204065 Corporation Collector Box/Trap – LB-66579B COLD HDR KIT:

The Collector Box/Trap is designed for collecting air samples from the Lennox LB-66579B Cold High-Rise Furnace. This kit is recommended for periodic maintenance, as an aid to troubleshooting, and/or as a diagnostic tool in the event of poor performance or out-of-control operation of a furnace.

The LB-66579B Collector Box Trap is designed to reduce duct leakage and eliminate the infiltration of outside air in forced air heating and cooling systems. This exclusive Lennox design incorporates a trapshield with collector box to seal off the line side of the return duct system from the outside climate.

The thermal efficiency of the Collector Box/Trap is distributed into the duct system and can provide up to 25% savings in heating costs. The Collector Box/Trap can be used to sequester all or part of each air moving fan discharge. Utilizing variable pitch fans and the Collector Box/Trap for heating, the LB-66579B Kit provides a simple, economical approach to energy efficient ventilation.

The 204065 Heating Element Assembly is a High Heat Rating (H.H.R.) and a Collector Box/Trap for Lennox air conditioning and heating equipment. It's used in 20" x 40" air conditioners and furnaces with eight wire leads.
