There are many ADA compliant door products available today; however, a closer that meets the standards of both the Americans with Disabilities Act and California State Building Code is essential. The American Disability Act requirements for closers are that they must be both fail-safe, which means they must accommodate a variety of closing conditions including opening while there is an obstruction in the path of travel, and fail-secure, which means they must remain in the closed position if power to the device is interrupted during operation. The LCN 2014 689 LH meets both these required standards.

The LCN 689 full concealed closer is designed to fit with a traditional profile door without aluminum threshold. This LCN closer features 2-3/4" backset and a 1-1/8" x 3/4" adjustable nosepiece.

The 2014 Series 689 is standard glazed with the Monticello glass pattern and available in 3 hand finishes (regular, right hand concealed closer, left hand concealed closer).

The LCN 689 series Conductor Closer can be used on horizontal or vertical applications and is for use on wood sash. The LCN 689 LH has a left hand pivot when mounted on the left side of the sash. This closer is an aluminum finish for added durability.
