This pressure switch helps create more even, consistent heating across your home or business while also making it possible to balance temperatures from room to room. It works with your system's air handler, air conditioning compressor and unit heat exchanger to provide maximum comfort.

Designed to work in conjunction with your 14A53, 14B53, and 22B53 four cycle air conditioners, this switch can be used in heating applications as well.

The 14A53C2 pressure switch, designed for use with Lennox Air Conditioning Systems, is used to control the fan and compressor operation of 2 stage heat pump systems. The manual reset model will start the fan when the pressure switch senses a drop in pressure and stop it when the pressure switch senses a rise in the heating system. This is an On/Off switch. The two models are differentiated by the reset feature of the pressure switch itself.

A two-stage thermostat switch that operates at a higher efficiency and delivers increased comfort with less wasted energy. The 14A53 works by sensing temperature at the air outlet of the air handler when in cooling mode, and then switching stages based on your Air Handler or Heat Pump's capabilities (i.e., low stage for in-room heat, high stage for attic air).

The 2-Stage Control system is a completely automatic, non-programmable, multipurpose control that provides comfort and energy efficiency for gas furnaces or gas air conditioning units. It offers one control to operate any size furnace or air conditioner. Each stage employs an electronic control valve with a built-in motorized actuator that continuously monitors temperatures and modulates gas flow while constantly comparing actual temperature to the desired set point(s). Once the desired temperature is reached in both stages of heating, only enough gas is supplied to maintain the temperature at the desired level.
