The Lennox PressureSwitch .55/.95wc SPST monitors the temperature in the air handler that controls the condenser fan. If a long time has passed since the last run, or if something has happened to stop the fan, such as an electrical problem, or a duct obstruction, the air handler reaches a preset temperature (high limit). The PressureSwitch trips and turns on the compressor contactor, energizes the compressor relay, and turns on the condenser fan.
