Flame Sensor

The Flame Sensor is used in conjunction with the self cleaning feature found on most Lennox high efficiency furnaces.

The Lennox Flame Sensor used with Digital Control System (DCS) and compatible with most other major brands. It detects flame failure in gas/oil/electric furnaces and fireplaces. If flame burns longer than intended, DCS will shut down unit to prevent damage from excessive heat.

The 32M86 Flame Sensor will initiate operation of the heat exchanger fan motor if flame is detected. If flame is extinguished, the fan motor will automatically be de-energized a few minutes later.

The Lennox 32M86 Flame Sensor is a flame sensor that comes in an easy to install configuration. This flame sensor is compatible for use with select Lennox brand furnaces and can be used in both primary and secondary burners.

This is two-wire flame photoelectric device that can be used on open vent and sealed combustion air supply system. It is installed in the exhaust duct of the heat exchanger, and built for motor-operated valve. It detects flame status by optical means and outputs DC output when flame is present.

The flame sensor will turn your system off automatically if a flame is lost for longer then two minutes.

This flame sensor can be used for wall mount applications. It is suitable to use with a Lennox® or other compatible gas-fired baseboard heater system with airflow through the heat exchanger. The N80 flame sensor requires an airflow of 1,234 cfm at 20 psi and works with a 32 or 36 kW gas-fired baseboard heater. This Lennox® flame sensor comes with a factory installed damper door actuator for opening and closing the damper door.
