The Condensate Trap Assembly is a Lennox component. Condensate Trap Assemblys prevent the water created by heating and cooling systems from draining into the standpipes and flooding the basements of homes. They are designed to insure that water drain down toward the lower end of a drain pipe and not up and out in to an adjoining property. When a condensate trap clogs, water backup can occur causing considerable damage.

The condensate trap assembly is a required assembly for ductless mini-split systems. It collects and removes the water that is produced with heating and air conditioning, and prevents it from damaging the system. With a standard 1/2 inch inlet and outlet removable cap, the assembly features a 180 degree tubing elbow and a 2-1/4 inch condensate drain connection port.

The condensate trap assembly is a component of the evaporator fan motor located in the condenser. When used in conjunction with the accoustical accululator and the fan assembly, this assembly allows for vibration to be handled, making for a quieter unit.

This condensate trap assembly is used to replace a damaged one or to if there's a replacement needed.
