The 40L64 Hose Barb from Lennox Industrial Air Conditioning is designed for pressure regulation and stop control of refrigerant. It is used to adapt different size tubing to the same size piping. The barb seals with a flare to prevent refrigerant leakage. Used with copper or aluminum tubing, it can be installed either vertical or horizontal.

The Lennox Hose Barb connects the discharge of an air conditioning unit to a section of flexible air tubing that connects to an indoor evaporator coil. This air conditioning part measures 1/2-inch in diameter and has compression nuts that attach to the discharge and liquid line.

This rugged cast-brass barb was designed for service in harsh environments and can be used in high pressure applications for industrial gases as well as liquids. The barb is self-vulcanizing after assembly through the reaction of its components during installation, which eliminates the need for additional sealants.

The controls are well made as they are very easy to turn on/off. They only have 3 settings.
