Replace your air conditioner's evaporator coil with the Lennox 54M89 Low Ambient Control Kit. This window air conditioning or central air coil includes a matched filter, designed to keep operating costs down by ensuring that your entire air conditioning system is running efficiently.

Lennox's Low Ambient Control Kits reduce cooling costs up to 35% during "off" times when temperatures are above the set point. This kit is designed for use with the Aire-Flo II (54M09) and Aire-Flo Plus (54M76) Air Conditioners.

With the addition of the 54M89 low ambient control kit (available separately), this Lennox high efficiency, carrier-grade gas package system provides even greater installation flexibility for your system.

The Low Ambient Kit, providing 15 SEER cooling performance, is designed to deliver reliable cooling across a range of outdoor ambient temperatures. Featuring an adjustable temperature and bypass damper system, the kit will allow you to save energy and money on your utility costs.

As air conditioning capacity demands increase from cooling the supply air stream to adding an additional zone, the family-sized Lennox® Low Ambient (LAL) Zone Controller can handle the load. The 54M89 has a designed in ability to detect if a heat strip is active and limit operation accordingly. This capability allows you to install variable speed outdoor compressors on your installation with no change in system capacity.

With this kit, you now have the freedom to install an air conditioning system anywhere there is central heating. This kit is compatible with gas, oil and electric furnaces and is designed for new installations and replacement applications. The complete kit includes a wall-mounted thermostat, heat anticipator, control transformer, ambient sensor and line & limit devices.
