LP ORIFICE  is an oxygen orifice for the Lennox GC Series Gas Furnaces. It has a direct effect on the combustion efficiency of your furnace and spreads the Flame over a larger area for greater heat transfer. The LP Orifice forces more air to flow to the burner, resulting in hotter fire temperatures. This heating allows your furnace to operate more efficiently by using less fuel, which saves you money.

The Lennox 56L56 LP orifice is an oxygen reducing orifice that works in conjunction with the gas valve on your heating system. The purpose of an LP orifice is to limit the amount of oxygen so that combustion will not take place too quickly and damage heat exchanger tubes. This Lennox 56L56 LP orifice is made for systems using 96% efficiency furnaces, and can be used with propane, natural gas, and liquid propane.

The Lennox 56L56 is an LP orifice sold as a direct replacement for some models of Lennox furnaces and boilers. The 56L56, like all orifices used in direct-vent appliances, provides a pathway to the burner assembly and performs a safety function by sealing off the burner feature during a malfunction or when the main fuel valve is closed.

This Lennox ORIFICE is a replacement part for furnaces with gas logs. It measures 3 by 2 inches, and comes in a brass color.

The Lennox 56LP gas orifice is designed to control airflow for the LP - gas burners. It can be used with other Lennox Gas valves as well as all other brands of LP gas burners. This orifice measures 3 1/4 inch (83 mm) in diameter and will fit into the "push-on" end of a valve stem. To determine which size gas orifice you need, measure the inside diameter of your LP / Natural Gas valve stem using a rigid wire. Your replacement gas orifice must have an inside diameter that is equal to or less than this measurement
