LENNOX GAS BURNER ASSEMBLIES 79J74 are used with LENNOX Gas-Fired Infrared Heating Equipment. These self-igniting burners have blower assemblies for forced-draft operation and provide a smooth start feature for ease of ignition at both light off and light on conditions. The integral high limit safety valves protect the equipment against excessive flame temperatures and shut down the burner assembly when needed.

The 79 series gas burners feature screw-in or welded-in burners. The 79J75 has a 175,000 BTU screw-in burner and provides 8,000 to 14,000 Btu/hr output. It is used in vertical or horizontal liquid propane (LP), natural gas or fuel oil fired boilers for heating, hot water and process applications. The 79J74 Burner Assembly is used with various Lennox performer gas furnace models, including: Series: 90HP24; 9 ton, 95% AFUE efficiency, Using the 79J74 burner assembly, factory setting is STD. This burner uses 115,000 BTUs per hour and burns natural gas only.

All of the burners are identical and can be interchanged in either position. The gas valve has adjustable temperature control. All of the burners are "convection type," in that they are capable of mixing air at rather low temperatures. This provides more complete combustion and eliminates any potential for a sooty chimney effect, even when using a small volet.
