A pulley is a loop of rope, cable, or chain that winds onto a spool or drum. The design includes an arrangement of one or more static ropes, cords or wires whose endpoints are anchored to fixed points. The moving end is called the rope, string, line, tail, or free end. Since they are common in countless applications, pulleys may be considered a simple machine. Pulleys and other kinds of hoists have been used since ancient times to lift heavy weights.
The Lennox 80K57 is a 3 speed Pulley that operates with an electronic drive module and incorporates a variable speed control for precise performance, resulting in optimal comfort control.
The Lennox 80K57 pulley system is designed to improve duct-distribution performance and raise energy use efficiency in your home. This design makes installation easier than ever before. (T)he pulley's innovative cable-deployment system puts you in control with increased flexibility and speed. The stainless steel cable offers strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Plus, the insulated cable has been tested to withstand high temperatures for efficient heat delivery.
The Lennox 80K57 replacement belt pulley helps drive the blower wheel when the blower is in operation.
This Lennox 80K57 pulley is designed for Lennox blowers using part number 40433975. It is made of cast steel for durability and features an S drive and a gear ratio of 4:1.
Designed to fit all Lennox and other compatible furnaces, these reliable pulleys are protected by a durable, corrosion-resistant coating.
The Lennox 80K57 is a prime-driven, single drum fan motor that features the Power Squared Series design. Pulleys provide fast and easy belt changes by simply loosening one screw. Two pulley options are available: (1) the standard pulley for 115/208-230 volt applications and (2) a heavy-duty pulley that features larger sheaves and bearings for 208-230 volt applications. Due to current codes requiring the motor's disconnect switch on the supply side of the branch circuit, an interrupter switch is required when installing in 208-230 volt outdoor applications.
