IAQ Indoor CO2 Sensor
The IAQ Indoor CO2 Sensor is part of a Lennox gas furnace system that includes an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor and an oxygen sensor. The system's sensors measure carbon monoxide (CO) levels, oxygen (O2) levels, ambient temperature, total, and differential pressure across the filter. The microprocessor uses this information to continually optimize operation.
Lennox® has taken the long-standing benefits of IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) and made them even better. Our 87N53 IAQ Indoor CO2 Sensor is compatible with most Lennox® systems, including our new LBC97IN, LST97B and LTC97B line of packaged terminal units, all of which are available at Home Depot stores nationwide.
The Lennox IAQ indoor CO2 sensor is an innovative way to monitor CO2 levels in your home. The sensor has a range of 0 - 5,000 PPM, and when properly installed comes with an industry-leading 3-year warranty. Whether you have a new or existing Lennox air handler this sensor will provide accurate CO2 readings without the need for costly professional installation. Easily connect the IAQ Indoor CO2 Sensor with the Lennox ComfortLink II Communication Interface Module (sold separately) for convenient access to CO2 levels in your home from any internet-connected device.
The Lennox 87N53 IAQ Indoor CO2 Sensor continuously monitors the indoor CO2 level. It communicates remotely with the V-Net Controller and alerts you visually and / or by email or text message when the preset IAQ levels are reached.
Lennox's IAQ indoor CO2 sensor allows you to track the air quality in your home as well as receive important alerts and reminders when it is time to clean your HVAC filter. This unique IAQ feature can help you identify immediate actions to take before CO2 levels become dangerous; Helps you ensure your home is properly maintained – filter changes every 3 months, system cleaning every 12 months – for optimal system health.
The 87N53 IAQ Indoor CO2 Sensor measures indoor air quality in CO2 concentrations. The sensor is intended for monitoring room air CO2 concentrations and displaying real-time indoor CO2 levels to an optional display inside or outside of a building. Because it takes readings only periodically, rather than continuously, the sensor is not affected by rapid changes in ambient CO2 levels and can therefore provide a more accurate reading of typical indoor CO2 levels over time.
