The Lennox 98M88 DRAFT INDUCER ASSEMBLY is a Primary Heat Exchanger Assembly used in the operation of all Lennox offerings, because it provides heat to and takes heat from the home.

Lennox 98M88 DRAFT INDUCER ASSEMBLY - Built-in draft inducer thermostatic switch prevents overheating and shifting of vaneless heat exchanger. Features a Class "A" Div Type "B" Downflow Venting and a 10.8 CFM Duct Exhaust Fan.

The draft inducer assembly (P-1) was designed for use with Lennox® furnaces. The draft inducer assembly is located directly behind the filter compartment next to the blower assembly. It works together with the blower to admit outside air into the furnace and house in order to burn fuel efficiently and keep heat from escaping through cracks in doors and windows. The draft inducer assembly has a two speed motor, an outer shell, an inner sleeve, a drive screw shaft, a spacer disk, a pressure plate, an armature, a spring loaded pin and two metal straps .

This Lennox Draft Inducer Assembly is designed specifically for the 98M series furnaces. This is for use on models 98M08, 98M10 and 98M12. Not very often a system requires this piece but if it does it needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Without the draft inducer assembly your furnace cannot heat your home or business.

The Lennox® 98M88 Draft Inducer Assembly is suitable for use with Lennox ducted split system air conditioners. This Lennox draft inducer assembly has been designed to produce up to 88% more airflow than previous standard models.

The Lennox 98M88 Draft Inducer Assembly with a Finned Aluminum Heat Exchanger features a vertical draft inducer motor which is connected directly to the blower and is designed to achieve rapid air changes. This motor assembly mounts on the furnace top cover.
