POWER SUPPLY/BALLAST

The Power Supply/Ballast is the energy supply for the UVC-22W and UVC-24V system. The power supply/ballast is the piece that converts line voltage to high voltage to power the lamps.

The Lennox Healthy Climate Power Supply/Ballast is a ballast that is used in the Lennox 6500/6500A Series UV air purification systems. The Lennox Healthy Climate Power Supply/Ballast operates at 100% all of the time and is made of heavy-duty materials. When replacing your Power Supply/Ballast, it is important to read the installation instructions and make sure you are installing the correct replacement for your UV air purification system.

The UVC-22W-24V Power Supply/Ballast is designed for use with Lennox UVC-22W-24V BLOWER MOTOR and UVC24-05 UVC HEATER panels to meet the air exchange requirements of ASHRAE 62.1-2010.

The power supply or ballast must be ordered separately from the lamp and is a required item for installation. The power supply converts line voltage to the appropriate operating voltage for the lamp. Power supplies are not interchangeable between lamps. Lamps will not operate properly without a power supply of the same wattage.

The UVC-22W-24V Hardwired UV Power Supply/Ballast from Lennox will keep your UV system running efficiently. This hardwired UV power supply comes with a UV light and offers a flow rate of up to 0.7 GPM. It is designed for hardwiring to Lennox UVC air purifier models that require 24 volt ballasts, or UV power supplies.

The Y0393 is an AC Power Supply (ballast) that is compatible with Lennox's UVC-24VE (model no. 63313). Power supply only, vortex filter sold separately. Please see Lennox Healthy Climate Models for a complete list of compatible models.

The ballast is an electronic device that is powered by the lamp. It regulates the voltage and current used by the lamp. Without a ballast, the lamp could not operate properly.
