IGNITOR SENSOR

The Ignitor Sensor Electronic Module used in Carrier 600 Gas Furnaces manufactured before November 15, 2009 for faulty flame sensor.

The Ignitor Sensor is designed specifically for Carrier furnaces. The Ignitor provides a high voltage, low current signal from the ignition transformer to the control board to initiate the start cycle. Without an Ignitor Sensor, the furnace's automatic start feature does not work.

The Ignitor Sensor (Ignitor Assembly) found in the grill is designed to sense if the temperature at the burner is too low and to automatically shut off the gas supply to that particular burner.

This genuine Carrier ignitor sensor is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that's ideal for a variety of applications. It's suitable for over-the-range ventilation systems as well as gas kitchen ranges. Use this ignitor sensor to replace a malfunctioning part or protect the ignitor from damage in storage. The ignitor works with the oven temperature and pilot burner to ignite the gas at the right time.

The Ignitor Sensor uses 32-bit microcontroller, and it incorporates the patented PID algorithm to ensure the stabilizing of flame generation. A unique counterbalance system allows the weight of the ignition device to self-adjust, ensuring optimal combustion performance.

The Ignitor Sensor for the Carrier 300139 is designed to protect your furnace and save energy. It monitors the flame and automatically shuts down the gas if there is a problem.

The Ignitor Sensor is designed to diagnose problems with your Carrier furnace. The sensor is mounted in the flame area of the burners and can detect a malfunction in the control circuitry early in the components life cycle while most repair or service costs are lower versus performance failures that happen later in that components life cycle. The ignitor sensor will help reduce service calls for routine maintenance and eliminate unnecessary replacements of non functioning or faulty parts.
