The 2E-200566 limit switch is used on the Star 5, 10, and 20 Series tractors. It is mounted on the hydraulic pump under the tractor and senses when the tilt valve is fully extended. The limit switch turns off electric fuel and oil shutoff solenoids when the valves are fully extended or closed.

The 2E-200566-1 Limit Switch is a two SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) incorporates an optically isolated signal output which provides indication of position for servo applications. This switch has an operating force of 0.11 N/O and 0.15 N/C and a life cycle of 1 Million actuations.

The Limit Switch is for use with the Star Micronics TSP143LAN Receipt Printer, and mounts in the bottom of the cash drawer.

Limit switches are used to prevent damage to a motor or other device by cutting the power off at a preset distance. This switch has two operating modes, momentary or contact. In momentary mode, a push of the soft button activates the switch for a set travel distance, then automatically resets itself for an unlimited number of cycles. In contact mode, the released button will remain in the closed (ON) position until reset manually.
