250ML CUP/CORE PLUG WITH #540 ADHESIVE, a two part epoxy with a 2 min. pot life, high strength and good vibration resistance. 2:1 Mix ratio and working time is 5 min. Maximum bond line thickness is 3mm. 24 hr. cure time at room temperature.

The 442-88545 LOCTITE CUP/CORE PLUG WITH#540 ADHESIVE allows you to turn any part of your pot into a temporary stopper. Ideal for drilling holes in parts and using them as stoppers during assembly and repair.

The 250mL cup/core plug with #540 adhesive is designed to be used with LOCTITE threadlockers. LOCTITE 442-88545 is a superior threadlocking agent which prevents loosening of screws and nuts caused by vibration and temperature changes. The cup/core plug form of LOCTITE 442-88545 helps prevent damage to holding components from the crossflow of lubricants between mating surfaces.

The LOCTITE 250ml cup/core plug is for use with 50ml to 250ml size core. It has a hollow core that allows easy application of the adhesive in preparation for insertion into the drilled hole, using an applicator stick or similar tool. The cup is designed such that the adhesive can be forced into the core and subsequently made level with the top of the plug by using a suitable tool.

The CUP/CORE PLUG is used to seal the hole that is left in pot and pipe after removal of components

When a small amount of Loctite 442 is applied to the cup/core plug, it completely seals the core hole and locks it against vibration. The plug remains in place until you decide to remove it.
