A rotary switch provides user-controlled rates of speed and torque. A2W2 auxiliary switches are provided for on/off operation. The speed and torque regulators are microprocessor-based for easy setup and protection against inadvertent errors, overloads, and low-speed stall conditions.

The Modutrol IV is designed to increase and decrease speed by modulating the AC motor supply. This method of speed control allows for smooth starting and stopping, even under heavy load conditions. It's very energy efficient (only 2% power loss) and can operate a wide range of motors from 20 RPM to 6000 RPM. This unit also comes with two auxiliary switches for Remote Power ON/OFF and Safety Shutdown (SS).

Modulating Motor- Controls air velocity at top of compressed range, allows more accurate flow control and protects motor.
