24V MODULATING ACTUATOR W/2 AUX. SW

The 12383 is a 24VAC 1 HP Modulating Actuator with 2 auxiliary switches. It is a direct replacement for the VEJ family of actuators and is fully compatible with all existing Honeywell electric valves from 1/2" through 2".

This 24V MODULATING ACTUATOR has a 150 lb-in (2.67 N.m) TORQUE CAPABILITY with the POSITIVE NON-FRICTION DESIGN which ensures versatility for your application. This case is UL rated for indoor and outdoor use. Model 12383 is ideal for volume control of blowers, fans, shutters and other rotating devices, or, preload and repeatability control of scale applications.

The Modutrol IV constructed with a rugged, 200-degree F continuous use thermoplastic case. The motor is suitable for use as a keying device where high holding torque is required or can be used to start a large load. This NEMA size 2, 4-wire, 14-inch long actuator has 2 auxiliary switches and comes with brackets for mounting to a two-gang box at horizontal or vertical mounting positions. There are no user serviceable internal parts and any service should be performed by authorized Honeywell Service Engineer.

A soft start 24 VAC input motor with a two position auxiliary switch, back emf cancellation, and integral overload protection. This high torque (150 lb-in), low speed (0.090 in/rev) device is ideally suited for commercial applications.
