Designed for use in steam boilers and furnaces, this Honeywell 2318 MODUTROL STAINLESS ELECTRIC 1/2IN NPT GAS VALVE B316482 is a 24V modulating, spring return actuator. It can provide control and protection for a variety of gas fuel sources including natural gas and propane using B3 style valves. The Honeywell 2318 is a modulating, spring return actuator with NPT plug-in connections for use with natural gas and liquids. The Honeywell 2318-P is a proportional valve designed with control systems allowing valves to work at varying flow rates while maintaining proportional control.

The Honeywell MODUTROL B316482 is a self-contained, fully modulating 1/2in gas orifice. The power-on reset position automatically returns the valve to the fully open position after each actuation. The stainless steel actuator is available with a spring return, linear actuator or a combination of linear and push button actuators, and an optional pilot light can be added.

This Honeywell MODUTROL gas valve is preassembled with a 24 volt solenoid. Its maximum pressure rating is 1800 psig at 70 deg F and it uses 1/2 inch NPT ports. The B316482-1 is designed to control natural gas or propane in direct vent appliances, such as natural gas stoves, water heaters and fireplaces.
