The Mamac TE-702-B-17-C Systems 8' Duct Temp Sensor is a temperature sensor designed to be installed in ducts to measure the temperature of the air passing through the duct. The sensor has an 8' cord and is powered by a 9-volt battery. The sensor has a temperature range of -10 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and can be used to monitor the temperature of the air in a duct or to detect when the duct is too hot or too cold.
