It is shaped to the ports on the latest Ford 4.6L and 5.4L modular engines, including: '09-up F150 - with dual plane intake manifold, '09-up Expedition with large distributor cap, & '09-up Explorer, Taurus & Fusion applications with "2V" distributor cap.

The Manifold Template was designed to help you make a precise core plug. This template is shaped specifically for the core plugs of the 4.6L and 5.4L engines found in Fords, Lincolns, Chevrolets, and Pontiacs. It follows the exhaust manifold contour very well allowing for a clean clamp on of the phenolic ring to seal the core plugs.

Use this Ford 4.6L/5.4L manifold pressure gauge template with your manifold gauge to check your calibration. Just plug the port on your manifold and fill in the stamped numbers with a pencil until you find an indication of 1,000 inHG or less vacuum indicating a need to recalibrate. Measuring guides are easy to read and pinpoint precise areas on the intake port for ease of use.
