Maxon makes this electrode for 360 to 660 cc 2-cycle gas engines. The preferred brand for nearly every original equipment manufacturer because of its strength and durability. This is the part you remove when changing a spark plug, It's also called an insulator sleeve. Why do you need one? Because you don't want the metal support shaft touching the engine head! This extra length protects your engine from shorting out electric current from other electrodes in the combustion chamber.

It’s tested thoroughly with engine dynamometer and in fact its performance meets all the requirement of SB (STANAG 4589: Electrogap Adjustment to suit all engine types).

Maxon's BK series.60.38 and 44M4 are identical to the "W" series except that they contain the two 10mm.16 x 2 threaded burners, with electrode holders for the W-2 and W-3 guns. The 43.37 and 45M4 guns fit the newer W-3 gunholders; they will also fit older holders for guns with 6mm heads if a -10x1 screw is installed in each holder. Note: The W-
