The Grass Shield is a sock style edger featuring a rear discharge. The frame is made of aircraft quality aluminum and the blade is heat treated steel for maximum durability.

The Mclane Grass Shield will fit all Mclane edger models from the Mclane Classic Angle Edger to the Mclane Max-Rite electric angle edger and both side discharge and bagging edger models. It is wide and comfortable and it is made of durable poly cloth with a mesh screen underneath the shield for proper airflow. This will also prevent rocks and other objects from hurting you or damaging your Mclane Edger.

The Edger Shield attaches easily to your edger using the cutting height adjustment knob. Prevents grass clippings from flying all over your yard, which reduces clean-up time. Made of durable vinyl that won't crack in the sun like plastic shields.
