The MDC-MX Lite also features friction thimble backlash of less than 10 arc seconds and a measurement reading in 0.0025" (0.6 mm) increments.
The Mitutoyo 293-832 Digimatic MDC-MX Lite has a digital display and measures from 0.00005" to 0.0001". The micrometer head is removable for use in an adapter, and the thimble enables the measurement of outside diameters.
This Japan-made Mitutoyo 293-832 Outside Micrometer has a ratchet friction thimble and a large, easy-to-read dial. The thimble adjusts the movable jaw perpendicular to the fixed jaw (0°).
