It is ideal for patients with hair loss due to alopecia or chemotherapy, as well as patients who require greater UV protection for extended stays outdoors. The hat can withstand temperatures up to 500º F (260º C) for up to 4 seconds.

This hat is MSA V-gard compliant and features a 2 piece strong hatband, color matched sweatband, adjustable velcro fastener, and a helmet compatibility clip for easy storage inside of a firefighter's helmet. This hat meets the mandatory headgear requirements set by NFPA 1981. The hat shell has been lined with a soft cotton blend felt and lined with a moisture resistant material.

This MSA Helmet is designed to meet OSHA specifications for testing and certification of head protection. This helmet is designed and recommended for use with MSA's V-GARD(R) face piece and collar assembly utilizing the C01 mouthgard.
