The Black MSA 454-816651 Standard Unpainted Type B Cap has a duro of 2.0 to 2.4 mm, an internal pressure rating of 8.2 PSI at 74° F, a fitting code C/TA (M20 x 1.5), and a full-rim design with no bead.

The MSA Standard Unpainted Type B Cap is FDA approved for use in food processing applications. This hard hat is constructed of a polycarbonate shell and provides protection from blows to the head. This durable, lightweight hat is in compliance with ANSI Z89.1.2015 standards, and meets or exceeds the NOCSAE standard applicable for balls used in sporting activities.

The standard unpainted Type B cap is designed for use in low pressure applications and is suitable for food and beverage service. It is made of 100% stainless steel with a satin finish. The smooth interior finish reduces the risk of particulate contamination, helping to ensure that your product remains uncontaminated. The cap is made with a heavy wall design to help reduce the likelihood of product loss in the event of over-pressurization.

Conveniently constructed with a stamped, standard unpainted Type C cap, the 454-816651 is capable of holding up to 1 pint of water. It is an ideal style that can be worn as a hard hat, or held within a pole bracket to direct water flow.
