Vari-Speed Assemblies include as many pulleys as needed for a specific application and vary from simple to very complex. Pulley size is calculated according to the application and selected by the customer. All Vari-Speed Assembly pulleys are "hardened" steel and run on ball bearings, with steel ball races which are sealed with a special grease for a long life.

The Garden Way 918-04423A replacement part is a pulley assembly with a variating speed. It is used by attaching it to the motor gearbox. The variating speed comes from an 8 hole pulley.

This replacement pulley is designed to fit Garden Way Titan, Dyna-King (mod. 5220003 & 5227347), and Great Dane Series I planters with the VAR SPEED and VAR CORD kits.

Variating speed pulley and chain assembly compatible with Garden Way 918-00421A front mount mower. This assembly includes the drive sprocket, spacer ring, pulley, chain and hardware needed for installation.

We at Green Thumb Supply highly recommend replacing the pulley assembly in the motor with a variable distributor, soldered ball bearing. If you have this Green Way Spool Pin or Master Winder, the variable speed motor will work properly. We also recommend cleaning up the grease roller and chain.
