The Nibco U45TBE2 is a 2 in. x 3,000 psi x 2.0 gpm PVC EPDM TU Ball Valve. This Nibco valve is CSA certified in accordance with ASME A112.10.1-2007, ASME A112.19.3-2008, PSL1 and is listed by NSF and cUPC. Ball valves are manual control valves used in the plumbing industry for controlling flow of liquids or gases through pipes.

The Nibco U45TBE2 is a PVC EPDM start ball valve that measures 2-3/8" in size. Start ball valves are installed on the main service line to control the flow of water and on services lines to individual fixtures to meter the flow of water.

Nibco U45TBE2 PVC ball valve features a 22 size .845" (21.515 mm) female NPSM fitting on top and a 2-1/2" (64 mm) male NPS pipe thread. The body side is tapered for handle clearance. The U45TBE2 has a Pressure rating of 160 (PN10) PSI at 180 (PN16) F and temperature rating of 200 range F maximum.

The Nibco U45TBE2 is designed for quick installation of uninsulated piping and fittings in combination with plastic ABS, PEX, CPVC pipe. It is typically installed outdoors in the hot and wet environments and is appropriate for use with EPDM, Hypalon, PVC, CPVC, chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polybutylene (PB), thermoplastic-elastomer (TPE), thermoplastic-rubber (TPR), vinyl-chloride (PVC) and cast iron pipe. The Nibco valve meets or exceeds applicable specifications for ASME/ANSI Standard B16.34.

Nibco's U45TBE2 features an EPDM rubber component, which makes it highly resistant to oils and organic solvents commonly found in manufacturing and food processing plants, as well as harsh chemicals used in industrial settings. This allows the ball valve to be more durable when exposed to these chemicals.
