This 140-180F M/R Limit Switch is sometimes used to report to the furnace blower motor and pilot gas valve when the temperature sensor reaches approximately the midpoint temperature of two predetermined set-points. The furnace blower motor and pilot gas valve will stop when this switch makes a circuit that completes the electrical circuit between two terminals of the switch. This swing limit switch automatically resets after this happens.
