Pressure Switch, 3/4 in. 15PSI, Adjustable. Pressure switches are designed to regulate the operation of a system by controlling an electrical switch or valve. If the pressure drops below a set point, which is often preset by factory default, a microswitch will open and an alarm will sound or the compressor will shut down. The switches may be used to stop the air supply if air pressure falls below a threshold at which point it becomes dangerous to enter a space.

Our Nordyne pressure switch normally closes at 1/2 in w.c air pressure, switch opens when it increases to 3/4 in w.c sending a signal to the furnace controls on the low pressure side to turn off the gas supply to the main burner and the pilot lights.
