Offset oxygen sensor socket

The TITAN TIT51739 Offset oxygen sensor socket tool is perfect for easy grip and operation in tight spaces. This offset design fits all cars from 2005 and up, with 10 inch-lb. of torque and 13 mm hex size.

The TIT51739 is an offset oxygen sensor socket for use with most automotive oxygen sensors.

The TITAN™ TIT51739 Offset Oxygen Sensor Socket allows you to access the rear oxygen sensor port without removing the catalytic converter. The offset wrench fits large oxygen sensors.

If the oxygen sensor has been removed from the exhaust system, or it is inaccessible because of restrictions to the engine bay, an offset socket provides an easy way to tighten and loosen oxygen sensor nuts.

This tool is designed for use on the later model GM LS engine application. The offset oxygen sensor extension allows you to reach back into the intake manifold to check and set the proper signal strength of the wide band O2 sensor.

The TIT51739 oxygen sensor socket is designed to work with oxygen sensors that have a 16 mm hex fitting. The TIT51739 features a 1/4"-20 internal thread to fit into any standard 3/8" drive, air-powered impact wrench, and an offset 90° design that allows the socket to fit around the oxygen sensor heater harness for easier removal and installation.

When it comes to oxygen sensors, durability is key. If you've been checking oxygen sensor sockets lately, chances are you're familiar with the telltale signs of a weak, potentially brittle socket. Metal fatigue can be caused by repeated and aggressive use of a badly designed socket, and it's not uncommon for allen or torx bits to snap off. Our Titan TIT51739 oxygen sensor socket is designed to resist cracking, chipping and breaking due to high-torque impact. It's a welcome sight in automotive repair shops and collision centers, where damaged oxygen sensor sockets are the norm, rather than the exception.
