The Johnson Controls Open On Fall Pressure Control prevents excessive water flow through the pump by mechanically adjusting alarm-open on a single-station pump controller. It regulates the free fall of discharge pressure in the event of a fire sprinkler system discharge.

The P-100AP pressure control is an Open on Fall, 2 port, normally closed pressure relief valve that senses a fall in upstream pressure. It has one inlet and one outlet port. When the upstream pipeline pressure falls below the seating setpoint, the relief valve opens within 10 cycles and remains open until the pipeline is at minimum pressure.

The P100AP control is a direct acting, body mounted positive shut-off pressure control valve which utilizes a diaphragm design to minimize the seal area and reduce the cost. Operating characteristics have been specifically designed for pressure type air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration applications. The valve is available in 20 standard sizes and is capable of operating at higher pressures than any other diaphragm type pressure control.
