Universal controls 8528 is a single-throw (SPST) pressure control. Pressure controls are used to cause a specified change in supply pressure and flow rate when the pressure at the inlet port is less than the set point of the control. Place the 8528 1/4 inch flare nut connection to your plumbing system, then connect other components as shown.
The Johnson Controls 8528 is a single-pole, single-throw (SPST) pressure control designed for use with non-corrosive refrigerants. The 8528 features a maximum working pressure of 100 psi, a 36" capillary connection and a 1/4"-28 UNF unthreaded connection.

The 8528 Series is a pneumatic pressure control with a manually operated snap-action switch. It has an all-metal, corrosion resistant body with a baked enamel finish and a glass faced dial for easy viewing. This control is the recommended control for continuous duty and intermittent service of refrigerants R-22 and R-404A.
