The 8551 DPST Pressure Control (100/400# DIFF) is a proportional pressure controller with an adjustable set point and differential pressure output. The controller protects against over-pressure and under-pressure conditions caused by process pressure fluctuations. If the process pressure increases, the controller reduces the output pressure; if the process pressure is reduced, the controller increases the output pressure to a preset level. The controller is suitable for a wide range of applications including systems where occasional over-pressure or under-pressure incidents occur.

The 8551 Pressure Control is a DPST (double pole-single throw) pressure switch with a pressure range of 100-200 psi and 400-600 psi. It features inch/pounds and Celsius scales, and can be used as a differential pressure controller. This device measures the difference in pressure between the set point and output pressures. It operates virtually noiselessly at low differential pressures. The DPST Pressure Control comes with a removable tag indicator, which indicates "ON" when the power is on and pressure applied to the switch. Installation and wiring instructions are molded into the case for convenient field service.
