24V MODULATING ACTUATOR

The Ruud 24V MODULATING ACTUATOR utilizes industry-leading diagnostics to monitor and generate a current report. This information is accessed and transmitted by using the removable data module. The motor is PWM modulating. This product is CSA and UL listed.

The MODULATING ACTUATOR is designed to achieve optimum comfort by regulating the temperature differential between the gas valve and the burner or pilot assembly. It has been designed to allow for easier installation (direct replacement) of 24 VAC models on existing systems with no change out of the motor and to ensure a broader RPM range to accommodate all size burners and pilot assemblies.

RHEEM's 319758 24-Volt MODULATING ACTUATOR provides proportional control of water flow in a variety of applications. These include hydronic heating systems, air conditioning systems, boiler and chilled water applications. The replaceable solenoid valve may be wired directly into the system or used as a stand-alone actuator.

The modulating / on/off actuator includes an integral electronic variable resister (VRS) that prevents overheating and wear associated with traditional fixed resistance mechanical modulators. An intelligent VRS provides expansion valve bilevel closed loop control for precise position regulation of the installed valve.
