The American standard bender chain is ideal for rigging applications where the load chain terminates in an eyebolt and heavy-duty shackles are required. It is made of forged steel plates that provide maximum strength and wear-resistance. The links are securely held together with high-grade metallic riveting, which provides additional strength beyond mechanical welding. The end link (eye) offers greater resistance to abrasion than conventional open eye designs, which could increase its service life. Plus, this chain meets or exceeds ASTM A354 grade 70 requirements.
