The Solid State Control replaces the typical mechanical control. Because of the Solid State nature of this control it never needs adjustment and is impervious to overflow.

The Solid State Control (SSC) is a round, blue, LED light control panel that features an easy-to-use touch pad. A built-in memory chip remembers your favorite setting until you change it. Simply touch the pad once for warm food or one time for hot food.

The Pitco Solide State Control has a solid state relay as the main control assembly, which eliminates failure-prone parts such as moving contactors. The Solid State Control can be used on high-speed or low-speed burners and is ideal for converting from natural gas to liquid propane or vice versa without requiring an additional control box. The Solid State Control can operate 120 v or 240 v burners up to 15,000 btu. It comes with stainless steel hardware and is compatible with 5/8 in. diameter pipe connections.

A variable speed, solid state control with a pushbutton selector switch is used to maintain proper temperature under all operating conditions. Thermostatic control turns off unit when set point is obtained or when room drops below 70°F. The SSI system, with an electronic ventilation sensor, has 10 preset temperature positions (70°-225°F) and a bimetal sensing element for self-adjustment of heating output.
