Detective

Detective is a standalone family card game set in Portal’s Aperture Laboratories. Players assume the role of test subject investigators, utilizing gadgets, doomsday devices, and of course, their wits to find a way out of the deadly facility.

The Detective board game puts you in the shoes of a detective, solving three murder cases. After reading each case and coming up with a solution, your job is to put together the clues you discovered and find all the hidden objects correctly to achieve a high score. Along with three different cases, this collection also contains achievements to unlock, making it even more fun for seasoned players!

Detective is a deductive game in which investigators unveil a mystery surrounding a Victorian mansion. Players can choose from two kinds of detectives and seven varying scenarios, each with unique forces at work. Detective has been nominated for a Golden Geek Award and was the Origins 2011 Dice Tower nominee for Best Card Game and has received praise from international gaming media including us here at Board Game Authority. There are other detectives like you, but there's only one that can solve the case!
